Pearson Vue exam

All CHART Digital Institute digital courses include a Pearson Vue exam to the value of $200. The exam must be taken within 24 weeks from your training program end date.

We recommend that you take your exam within 3-6 weeks from the completion of the program, as this provides you with an opportunity to retake the exam (if necessary) by week 24. Please be aware that it is not possible to extend the exam eligibility time beyond 24 weeks unless there are serious extenuating circumstances (illness, bereavement etc.). Therefore please book your exam as recommended above to ensure availability of your preferred test centre and to allow plenty of time for any potential repeat exams. If you fail an exam, you can repeat it twice. All repeat exams must be taken within the original exam eligibility period of 24 weeks. We don’t only train/educate you, we make it happen!

Anyone can apply for the Professional Diploma in Search Marketing. A background in a related discipline is not required – the aim of the Professional Diploma is to allow you to learn everything you need to know about search marketing; and to kickstart a new and exciting career. You may be a business owner looking to take your online marketing to the next level or you may be someone looking for a change of career. The only prerequisite is that you have an interest in a SEO/PPC marketing career.
The Professional Diploma in Search Marketing is recommended for individuals who are responsible for the planning, execution or measurement of search marketing campaigns – search marketing specialists (PPC), search advertising (AdWords) and optimization (SEO) professionals, or anyone who would like to pursue a career or enhance their marketing knowledge in this area. The course is suitable for participants with any level of skill or experience and will prepare them to engage specifically with search marketing within the overall digital marketing domain.
Our qualifications are world class. This allows you to take your Digital Marketing Institute qualification with you, no matter where your exciting career may take you.
The Professional Diploma in Search Marketing is assessed by one three hour exam; these are administered by our computer-based testing partner, Pearson Vue, via its global network of test centers. Candidates need to achieve a minimum of 60% to pass the exam. Your examination fee is included in the course price but subsequent re-sits due to failed attempts will incur a fee of approximately €60 or local currency equivalent payable directly to Pearson Vue when you book your repeat attempt.

Certification

The assessment is based on a formal computer-based examination that will measure individuals’ knowledge and digital marketing proficiency following completion of the course.

The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.

A range of different question formats are used including Text based Multiple Choice; Image based Multiple Choice, Matching and Hot Spot questions. Our computer-based examinations are delivered through the Pearson VUE test centre network which comprises over 5,200 centres in 180 countries.

The use of Pearson VUE to deliver our exams increases the value of the international certification offered by the Digital Marketing Institute and provides students with a quality, consistent examination experience, no matter where they are in the world.
