The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is our cornerstone certification and can provide you with an introduction to key digital marketing specialisms, from mobile marketing and social media marketing to Email marketing, PPC marketing and SEO.

Pearson Vue exam

All CHART Digital Institute digital courses include a Pearson Vue exam to the value of $200. The exam must be taken within 24 weeks from your training program end date.

We recommend that you take your exam within 3-6 weeks from the completion of the program, as this provides you with an opportunity to retake the exam (if necessary) by week 24. Please be aware that it is not possible to extend the exam eligibility time beyond 24 weeks unless there are serious extenuating circumstances (illness, bereavement etc.). Therefore please book your exam as recommended above to ensure availability of your preferred test centre and to allow plenty of time for any potential repeat exams. If you fail an exam, you can repeat it twice. All repeat exams must be taken within the original exam eligibility period of 24 weeks. We don’t only train/educate you, we make it happen!

Anyone can apply for the Professional Certification in digital marketing. A background in a related discipline is not required; the aim of the Professional Certification is to enable you to learn everything you need to know at a foundation level, so you can kick start your digital career. You could be a business owner, a traditional or digital marketing professional, a recent graduate, or simply looking to change your career. The only prerequisite is that you have an interest in digital marketing and want to progress your career. Upon successful completion of the Certified Digital Marketing Course, you will become a Certified Digital Marketing Professional.
The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is approximately 30-hours of digital marketing course content. The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is delivered online. You can access your digital marketing course content wherever and whenever you want.
The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is assessed by one three hour exam; these are administered by our computer-based testing partner, Pearson Vue, via its global network of test centers. The exam is split into three sections; candidates need to achieve a minimum of 60% to pass the exam. Your examination fee is included in the price but subsequent re-sits due to failed attempts will incur a fee of approximately €60 or local currency equivalent payable directly to Pearson Vue when you book your repeat attempt.

The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course focuses on the commercial aspect of online marketing. The Certified Digital Marketing Professional course is a practical course designed to help you improve your business's online lead generation and customer engagement.

Certification

The assessment is based on a formal computer-based examination that will measure individuals’ knowledge and digital marketing proficiency following completion of the course.

The duration of the exam is 180 minutes.

A range of different question formats are used including Text based Multiple Choice; Image based Multiple Choice, Matching and Hot Spot questions. Our computer-based examinations are delivered through the Pearson VUE test centre network which comprises over 5,200 centres in 180 countries.

The use of Pearson VUE to deliver our exams increases the value of the international certification offered by the Digital Marketing Institute and provides students with a quality, consistent examination experience, no matter where they are in the world.
